RUPAandCo.  was created from a place of seeking.

I experienced infertility and heartbreaking losses of very dear people in my life. I believe all of this led me to this particular name/idea.

I was originally thinking of a memorable name/acronym, to create a business. RUPA, originally, was the concept 'Real, Unique, Products, and Art'. I wanted to share beautiful items that I connected with.

I quickly learned, upon researching the word Rupa, that it held a much deeper meaning.

Rupa: (Sanskrit origin)

-typically meaning silver, beautiful, or form; can also be related to the gender-neutral name "Ray" in English or German origins.

['Ray" would have been our son Jude's twin sister, who was lost in early pregnancy.]

-'Becoming all you've ever been meant to be.' (hence created from a place of seeking)

The name Rupa/ Ray hit astrological details of my own birth chart- Libra with ruling planet moon. (My moon sign is in Libra, and I have been learning how the phases of the moon can help in self-discovery and studying astrology since my first close loss.)

One last token I read as a sign was that Rupa was the name to use for this journey was:  "Rupa do not arise at the time of birth; During a lifetime, they can arise."  (I have always been a late bloomer/ beat to my own drum.)

I believe, very strongly, that RUPA, as a name, is a gift to me from some incredible souls I have been so very lucky to encounter. 

My final (personal) interpretation of RUPA is "Encompassing the Physical Form and Essence of Divine Prescence".

I added 'andCo.' with the hope that this may also resonate with others and I can bring joy and connection through my designs.
